Concept
YYA was commissioned to design the restaurants and public spaces at Hurawalhi Resort and Spa. The resort includes the world largest underwater restaurant with 5" thick clear acrylic wall & ceiling. Lagoonscaping and coral rehabilitation around the underwater spaces are the inspirations throughout the architectural engagement to the site. At every step of the development process reducing the project’s carbon footprint was a key consideration and to prove it’s possible to care for the environment without sacrificing elegance and luxury.
