Concept
YYA was commissioned to design the Conrad Seaplane lounge at Velana International Airport in the Maldives. Our proposal looks to blend utility and comfort for the occupant. We felt an airport lounge needs to accommodate storage and electrical needs as well as provide a feeling of privacy and independent zones for groups. Comfort and ease of mind are interregnal as wait times for seaplanes are determined by weather.
