Stapleton Park - The project is a proposal to restore the historical Staten Island's salt marsh shoreline, and to provide the community public outdoor recreational spaces. From the proposed waterfront walkway, New Jersey, Manhattan and Brooklyn skylines are viewed across the water emphasizing this unique vantage point of the city. The park's plant material takes inspirations from Staten Island's landscape from 19th century such as DISTICHLIS SPICATA, SPARTINA PATENS, SPARTINA ALTERNIFLORA to celebrate the history of Staten Island and its biological community.
